This website is a resource for long-distance cycling enthusiasts in Ireland. The definition of a long-distance bike ride is purely personal,  for some people it is a 40k tour of their locality for others it may  be a 1000k cross country bicycle marathon.

Long distance cycling is a rapidly developing sport in Ireland, during 2006 almost 100 organised events were held throughout the island. I have included the calendar of events for 2007 and the details of  the major Irish and international tours.

This site includes training logs for the 20062005 and 2004 seasons together with sample cycle route details.
